Welcome Neighbor!
After a group of rowdy kids noisily walked down Lera Jones and threw a rock into a neighbor's window a few years
ago, I thought it would be a good idea to establish a tool for us neighbors to watch each other's backs and property.
But, I never got it done until now. At a community meeting I attended a few months ago, many residents on Brantley and other
areas expressed that they have noticed an increase in grafitti, mysterious kids walking in the streets, car windows being
broken, and other vandalism.
This site will also be used to keep us in touch with one another in case crime, vandalism, mis-delivered mail, or for
any other reason we might need to get in touch with one another. This tool will also help us to create a better
sense of community by getting to know each other better. Helping in some of these flooded neighborhoods for the past
week, has elevated my sense of community. Sadly, I don't think many people around here talk much to each other or know
each other(me included), and that's not good.
Officers Watkins (our precinct coordinator) and Walker will be made aware of any strange activities as
they have shown an interest to know, along with Vivian Wilhoite (unless she loses).
Our Mission

This website will serve as a meeting place where we neighbors (who I think care about their
property and respect other people's property) can gather and share information with one another. I will stay
away from things that feel like gossip on this site, neither will I publish any private matter issues such as overheard domestic
disputes, and such. This website belongs to us, and even though we want the main focus to revolve around criminal &
neighborhood watch concerns, you are welcomed to share things like a yard sale you're having, your favorite mower, what you
think of your new gutter guard draining system, yard tips, favorite recipes, want ads, your occupation, items you're selling,...
If you wish to publish something onto the neighborhood site, please email it to me at area2267@comcast.net and I'll publish it.
